Baking clafouti

Ryanne did all the mixing to bake her first clafouti.. a quick dessert that uses up our unused fruit. This one has strawberries and bananas!  She measured 2 cups of flour and four cups of milk and counted all four eggs!

Fairy life in the woods

So much learning while camping this week! We learned about water; fetching water and making tea on the fire, the difference between salt water from the ocean and fresh water.

Ryanne hunted down pinecones collecting a huge bucket full that we sorted in piles if big and small and counted into piles of ten.

Here she is being a princess fairy dancing to the call of the birds and squirrels!

Learning to care care of my things

It's a sunny day and that means garden time ..  Spring cleaning means it is time to brig out the toys and get them ready for the nice weather!
